PETALING JAYA: Melaka is now a green zone state as no new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the past two weeks, the health ministry tweeted today.
It said there had been no new cases in the state since Aug 13.
This makes Melaka the fifth green zone state after Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Perak.
“Abide by the SOPs and help the government turn the whole country into a green zone,” the ministry said.
To date, 9,291 Covid-19 cases have been detected in the country with 8,978 recoveries.
A total of 125 people have died from the virus while 188 are still being treated.
