PETALING JAYA:
Two people, including a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer, have been remanded for three and four days respectively, to assist in the investigation of a RM700,000 robbery case.

Dang Wangi police chief Noor Dellhan Yahaya said the two suspects, aged about 30, were arrested over the weekend by a team from the district criminal investigation department.

He said 12 people had been called so far to assist with the investigation.

The MACC said in a statement yesterday that one of its officers had been detained by police.

It was reported on Saturday that two people, including an officer from an enforcement agency, had been arrested for being allegedly involved in a gang robbery at a house at Jalan Ampang, with losses amounting to almost RM1 million.
