
KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow on major highways was reported to be smooth and under control this morning ahead of tomorrow’s Aidilfitri celebrations.
A spokesman for the Malaysian Highways Authority (LLM) said the flow of traffic heading north was smooth as of 9am.
However, vehicles at two locations – from Slim River to Sungkai, and Tapah to Gopeng – were moving slowly.
Traffic heading south was also reported to be smooth.
For the journey towards the east coast, traffic was reported to be moving slowly from the Genting Sempah tunnel to the Genting Sempah rest and recreation area.
