
He said the reported cases are categorised as sporadic, in which 12 of them have mild symptoms and are being treated at the relief centres or at home, while two cases require hospital treatment.
Dzulkefly said a total of 51 health facilities were affected by floods in Kelantan (23), Terengganu (11) and Pahang (17).
He said a total of 34 health facilities were still operating as usual, while 16 health facilities had moved operations to alternative facilities and one health facility could not operate due to a disconnection.
The number of flood victims in four states dropped further to 16,919 people this evening, the National Disaster Management Agency said.
In Pahang, 120 people are taking shelter in six relief centres in Bera, Maran and Temerloh, and 87 people at one relief centre in Cameron Highlands following a landslide.
In Kelantan, 15,882 people are sheltering at 42 relief centres in Jeli, Kuala Krai, Pasir Mas and Tumpat, while in Terengganu, the number of victims in Dungun, Kuala Terengganu and Marang dropped to 862 people.
In Johor, the number of evacuees remained unchanged at 55 people in Segamat.
Several rivers are at the danger level, namely Sungai Kelantan in Kota Bharu, Jeli and Gua Musang as well as Sungai Golok in Tanah Merah and Pasir Mas in Kelantan; Sungai Perak in Hulu Perak, Perak; Sungai Arau in Arau, Perlis; and Sungai Dungun in Dungun, Terengganu.
