State police chief Alzafny Ahmad said the suspects, aged 22 and 25, were arrested after the girl’s mother lodged a police report on Oct 7 saying her daughter had been raped.
“The incident reportedly occurred at 9.36am when the student went to the toilet,” he was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian.
Alzafny said the victim was brought to Tunku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban where it was found that no rape had occurred, adding that it might have been an attempt.
“Both suspects have been remanded for seven days from Oct 8 to Oct 14. The case is being investigated under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017,” he said.
