KUALA LUMPUR: French rookie, Fabio Quartararo delivered the Petronas Yamaha SRT MotoGP team its first podium finish in MotoGP as the 20-year-old rider finished second at the Catalan Grand Prix (GP) in Spain, tonight.

Today’s victory also was his first ever podium since making a debut in the premier class, last March.

The country’s first MotoGP rider, Hafizh Syahrin of Red Bull KTM Tech 3 who started the race in the last position and Quartararo teammate, Franco Morbidelli both failed to finish the race.
