TOKYO:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is in cooperation, rather than competition, with the China-led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), and it wants to boost co-financing projects in the region, ADB President Takehiko Nakao said on Tuesday.

“We have co-financed four projects and there are more in the pipeline as we want to increase” co-financing investment, Nakao told reporters.

Nakao added that Asia was not facing “secular stagnation” as the region was enjoying high growth and had room for further expansion. (Reporting by Tetsushi Kajimoto; Editing by Chris Gallagher)
