SEREMBAN:
A man was found burnt to death after the car he was driving crashed into a shophouse here early today and burst into flames, said Seremban Police chief ACP Muhamad Zaki Harun.

The burnt body of the man—who has been identified as Kuan Wei Sin, 30, of Jalan SJ 5/6B, Taman Seremban Jaya— was found in the driver’s seat after the Toyota Altis car crashed into the shophouse along Jalan Kapitan Tam Yeong at about 12.30am, he said.

“Preliminary investigations showed that the accident happened when the car was on Jalan Kapitan Tam Yeong while heading from Jalan Tun Dr Ismail to Jalan Yam Tuan. It crashed into a concrete pillar of the shophouse.

“The car burst into flames and Kuan was trapped in it. He suffered burns all over his body,” he said in a statement.

The body was sent to the Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital, he added.
