PETALING JAYA: A former deputy prime minister said Malaysia could learn a thing or two from its neighbour, Singapore, when it came to management efficiency, The Sun reported.
“We should not be jealous of their success,” Musa Hitam was quoted by the English daily as saying.
He said this at a community-initiated Iskandar Malaysia conference 2016 in Johor yesterday.
Malaysia, Musa explained, could learn about the management of cleanliness and the importance of a green environmen,t among others.
On a separate matter, he commented on the country’s relationship with China, saying it was not only Malaysian Chinese but other races as well that had an involvement with the country.
He pointed out that there were about 100 Malay students studying in China.
