
At the same time, he called on the people of Kedah, especially his supporters, to remain calm in regard to current developments and to refrain from creating chaos.
He said he was ready to accept any eventuality as long as the final decision was deemed as the best solution for Kedah and the country.
“I’m always ready (come what may)…I’ll leave it to Allah, sooner or later (the change will happen), I believe the truth will prevail,” he said at a community programme in Kampung Sanglang here last night
“I’m not afraid of any possible action to be taken against me. I believe everything happens for a reason,” he stressed.
The political climate in Kedah heated up last week after several Kedah state assemblymen and members of Parliament as well as senior Umno state leaders led by Ahmad Bashah Hanipah, said they had lost confidence in Mukhriz as menteri besar and state Umno Liaison Committee chairman.
