Therefore, she said Puteri Umno divisions nationwide have been urged to find and identify such members and register them as voters.
“We are coming to the states and divisions to identify our members who have yet to register as voters. On February 27, we will continue the efforts to increase our membership and register them as voters in Johor Bahru.
“We need to identify them because without them, we could lose the votes. We aim to register 80,000 voters this year,” she told reporters after the handing over of Chinese New Year aid to the Masjid Tanah Parliamentary constituency, here, last night.
Mas Ermieyati said Puteri Umno was also ready to move its machinery to face the Sarawak state election if needed.
“It’s up to the state machinery, so far we have not received any instruction to help their machinery,” she said.
