This is the claim, or rather guarantee, made by the team’s new sponsor – cosmetics tycoon Hazmiza Othman, better known as Dr Vida.
Four versions of the jersey named DSV (Datuk Seri Vida) will be launched tomorrow.
“The thread of the jerseys is created using the latest technology and the shirts are manufactured in three countries – China, Thailand and Vietnam.
“The jerseys are capable of absorbing sweat and can whiten skin. I’m a visionary and when I do something, I make sure it benefits everyone,” she was quoted saying in Berita Harian.
According to her, the jerseys are made of thread with the ability to improve blood flow and burn fat.
“The subsequent drying of the absorbed sweat will whiten the wearers’ skin, as if the person had just stepped out of a sauna.
“I have been wanting to implement the technology behind this jersey in my beauty products for some time now. But now that I have to design football jerseys, I thought I might as well marry the two,” she said.
Some 20,000 units of “home” and “away” jerseys will be released tomorrow, under two versions – exclusive and for supporters.
The “home” jerseys will be available in red and white as well as pink and white, while the “away” version will be sold in blue and white and pink and black.
