Citing a source, The Star Online reported said Bashah arrived at KMC at 7.30pm and was currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
It was reported that Bashah collapsed during a meeting he was attending at the Grand Alora Hotel at about 7pm.
Bashah, 65, has only recently taken over as Menteri Besar after a leadership crisis in the state earlier this year.
In February, he was installed as the state’s new Kedah Menteri Besar, replacing incumbent Mukhriz Mahathir.
