
PETALING JAYA: Bursa Malaysia has confirmed reports of receiving a bomb threat at 12.01pm today.
In a press statement, it said authorities had been notified about the matter.
“As a precaution, all tenants and staff have been evacuated,” it said.
Bursa noted that they had activated all respective Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Reports also said that trading resumed at Bursa Malaysia, located at Exchange Square, Bukit Kewangan in Kuala Lumpur.
Meanwhile, Astro Awani reported that police earlier entered Bursa to check on the bomb threat.
Bursa added that it would update its status of operations on its website at http://www.bursamalaysia.com/corporate.
