The 22-year-old said he was beaten, tied with rope, and forced to swallow six objects resembling bullets, English daily The Star reported.
The men who tortured him also used a taser stun gun all over his body, he said.
According to police who spoke with the victim, the incident happened at about 11pm last Thursday. A health officer at Ampang Hospital alerted the police after detecting the objects the victim had been forced to swallow in an X-ray scan early Saturday morning.
Following the alert, police arrested seven men, including the victim’s employer. The men were reportedly aged 22 to 42. Two of the suspects had criminal records, police said, and all seven tested positive for methamphetamine use, The Star said.
Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Laham said the seven men would be remanded until Wednesday.
Police also seized a Toyota Hilux, mobile phones, ecstasy pills, and eight other objects resembling bullets, the report said.
According to the police, the case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for intentionally causing hurt using a dangerous weapon.
