TANJONG KARANG:
The Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Noh Omar today lashed out at the Selangor government for accusing the federal government of ‘trespassing’ into the Lembah Subang 1 Peoples’ Housing Project (PPR).

He described the state government as “ignorant of history” and that its allegation was merely to cover its own weaknesses for failing to manage the PPR.

“The PPR was built 100% by the federal government on the ministry’s land to assist the people at a monthly rental of RM124 but later handed over to the Selangor government to manage,” he told reporters here yesterday.

Last Tuesday, Selangor menteri besar Mohamed Azmin Ali claimed that the ministry had trespassed into the PPR for the construction of an administrative office without approval from the Petaling Jaya City Council.
