Rural and Regional Development Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said this further to claims that the opposition coalition is controlled by DAP.

“Kit Siang has tried to humiliate and mislead the Malays.

“We all know that the DAP is a Chinese-dominated party and Kit Siang has not given space to the Malays,” he said in a statement today.

Ismail added that it was only fitting for the Gelang Patah MP to be chairman of the opposition coalition because DAP is the largest party in the coalition.

“If Kit Siang appoints a Malay as the chairman of PH, it will be a trick to deceive Malay voters.

“He needs to take the position himself to prove that PH is not an Ali Baba pact,” he said.

Ismail reminded the Malays that DAP wanted their votes to capture Putrajaya.

“After taking control of Putrajaya, Kit Siang will rule for his future generation,” he said.
