SHAH ALAM: Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali has urged all quarters to cease speculation on the political crisis in Selangor out of respect for the command of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

He said the Sultan of Selangor had ordered that the State Executive Council (Exco) membership of PAS leaders not be made an issue after he consented that they be retained in the state government administration.

“This proves that his majesty truly understands the heartbeat of the people who want the mandate given to be implemented with trust and responsibility.

“He also ordered that irresponsible parties stop their speculation regarding the stability of the state government.

“We will carry out this mandate until the 14th General Election. This is his decree and all must abide by it,” Azmin told reporters after a ground-breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Uptown Shah Alam in Section 24 yesterday.

In his declaration, Sultan Sharafuddin consented to Azmin’s wish to retain the three PAS excos in the state government until the next general election.
