“The quick response of Salleh just after the announcement of the line-up and the new Pakatan logo shows that BN, especially Umno, has started to fear us,” Razeef said in a statement today.
“Salleh questioned the position of DAP in PH’s committee because DAP has the most parliamentary seats.
“Salleh doesn’t realise that’s the difference between PH and BN. DAP is not greedy like Umno, who has its tentacles over all the other component parties.
“For example, during the last general election, many MCA, MIC and Gerakan areas were taken over by Umno. The same thing happened in Sabah, but in the end, BN lost three parliament and nine state seats.
“The cooperation and understanding within PH worries BN, that’s why Salleh questioned DAP’s position within PH and tried to cause division within the opposition coalition.”
Razeef added that while Salleh had also raised the issue of whether the country can be entrusted to PH, that question actually applied to the minister himself.
“Actually, the rakyat are now wondering whether BN can be trusted to run the country again.
“It is worse when the BN top leadership is embroiled in a big scandal and the ruling coalition fails to manage the nation’s economy. The country is in debt of almost one trillion ringgit and the GST is a burden on the people.
“BN leaders are treating themselves lavishly while many of the common people are still in poverty.
“In Salleh’s own state constituency, Usukan, infrastructure such as roads, electricity and water is still in poor condition.
“He should’ve focused on his area where some places are prone to flooding. But he is instead busy defending leaders who are linked to the 1MDB scandal.
“Will Usukan people give Salleh another mandate?” Razeef asked.
