NILAI: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today raided the Nilai home of former Felda chairman Isa Samad, a day after raiding his house in Selangor.
When contacted, MACC deputy commissioner (operations) Azam Baki confirmed the raid.
It is understood that three MACC vehicles arrived at Isa’s house at about 4.30pm and left two hours later, according to a report by Bernama.
Isa, who served as Felda chairman from 2011 until December last year, was arrested by MACC yesterday in connection with Felda Investment Corporation’s (FIC) purchase of two hotels in Kuching and London.
Azam said then that the arrest was a follow-up to earlier statements recorded over the purchase.
Today, Isa was remanded for five days to assist in investigations.
