Saifuddin said negotiations were now moving into the second stage, focusing on state seats.
“Seat negotiations are proceeding well. We have resolved most of the parliamentary seats, and are now going into the state seats, which is the second stage.
“This is why we can boldly say we have set up 100 parliamentary coordinator committees.
“Negotiations for these 100 seats will be settled within this month,” he said at a press conference after the PH secretariat council meeting here today.
Saifuddin added that in the seat negotiations, it had already been decided that PH would not cooperate with PAS, and that all strategic plans had been made.
“We have taken all factors into consideration. We are working on a one-on-one fight. That is the winning formula. Barisan Nasional knows that.
“We have to be practical. We cannot continue with seat negotiations if we are not sure who we are working with.
“We have taken all factors into account. We have a good fighting chance in the seats we are contesting,” he said.
