Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat said the man is a chief executive officer of a major real estate and investment company, Star Online reported.

He said the incident is alleged to have taken place at 7.30pm on Friday in a ward at the hospital where the man was receiving treatment.

Fadzil said the nurse complained that the man grabbed her buttocks and breasts and also kissed her on the cheek.

Following a police report, the man has been remanded for four days to facilitate investigations.

The incident comes in the wake of a report that a 26-year-old female doctor was suffering post-traumatic stress after being the target of sexual abuse at the Melaka Hospital on Sept 3.

Melaka Health Department director Dr Ghazali Othman said she only calmed down after senior doctors offered consultation to the doctor.

She was allegedly molested by a 37-year-old patient who was undergoing medical screening at the emergency and trauma department of the hospital.

Ghazali said the patient was believed to be a drug addict.
