GEORGE TOWN: DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng says the party is preparing documents in relation to the Registrar of Societies’ (RoS) directive for it to conduct a re-election of its central executive committee (CEC).
“It is only appropriate that I address this issue at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur.
“I have all the facts here,” he told reporters here today.
On July 17, DAP received a letter from the RoS directing it to hold a re-election of its CEC as the RoS did not acknowledge the results of DAP’s election on Dec 15, 2012 and re-election on Sept 29, 2013.
DAP vice-chairman Teresa Kok was reported as saying the re-election was proposed for Sept 10.
