
The new location will form part of the new Bukit Kayu Hitam Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) Complex which will also open the same day, PLUS said in a statement today.
It also said toll collection at the new location would only continue until Dec 31, 2017.
Termination of toll collection at Bukit Kayu Hitam from Jan 1, 2018 was announced by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Najib Razak in his Budget 2018 speech in the Dewan Rakyat last Friday.
Najib also announced the abolition of toll collection from January at the toll plazas at Batu Tiga, Shah Alam and Sungai Rasau in Selangor, and Eastern Dispersal Link in Johor.
PLUS said that from Nov 1, the new toll plaza would extend its daily operating hours from 6am till 2am the next day against the present operating period of 6am to 12 midnight to facilitate travel at the border.
