
The Star Online reported Pahang Criminal Investigation Department chief Senior Asst Comm Othman Nayan as saying that among those arrested were two teenagers, aged 15 and 17.
On Oct 26, members of the public saw the body of a girl floating in Sungai Triang, in Bera.
Othman said family members had identified the body of the 14-year-old girl.
“The autopsy showed 45 stabs to the chest, abdomen, back of the body, both arms, and the left leg which caused injury to the lungs, and are believed to have been caused by a knife.
“The cause of death was due to multiple stab wounds to the torso,” The Star Online quoted him as saying in a statement.
Othman said the two teenagers would be charged in Temerloh on Dec 29.
