“They cannot continue playing their dirty tactics. This has to stop,” he told a crowd in Bandar Baru Sentul.
At the event, he raised the hand of the 22-year-old Prabakaran, who is the youngest candidate in the 14th general election.
Following Tian Chua’s exit from the Batu contest, Prabakaran will face Barisan Nasional’s Dominic Law, PAS’ Azhar Yahya and another independent candidate V. M. Panjamothy.

Meanwhile, in his first major public appearance tonight, Prabakaran, who chose the key symbol beside his name on the ballot paper, thanked the crowd, saying he would represent the youths if elected.
“We must have a voice in the Parliament,” he said addressing the 1,000-strong crowd, who chanted “reformasi” and “kunci” (key).
In an interview with FMT earlier this week, Prabakaran said he always respected and looked up to Tian Chua as his mentor.
“My family has been living in the Batu constituency since my birth, and they have been PKR supporters from the start,” he said.
Prabakaran today assured he would not join BN.
Asked if he would join PKR, he said:”I will discuss about that after the elections.”
