2 pilots escape death in copter crash at Subang

The helicopter crashed on grassy ground at the helicentre at Subang airport this morning.

KUALA LUMPUR:
Two pilots were slightly injured after their helicopter crashed at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang today.

Petaling Jaya district police chief Mohd Zani Che Din said the pilots were aged 59 and 70.

The helicopter crashed during a test flight.

The Robinson R66 helicopter, belonging to a company, crashed on the grassy ground of the helicentre of the airport at 8am, he said.

The crash did not disrupt the operations of the airport, he added.
