“This brings the group’s current outstanding order book to a record RM6.7 billion,” said executive chairman and group managing director AK Nathan in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
Eversendai India secured the composite structural steel and civil works project for the DLF Downtown Taramani Blocks 4 and 5, Chennai, making it the single largest contract win to date.
Meanwhile, Eversendai in Mumbai bagged the C65 commercial tower project, a 19-floor composite structure building, and the 30 Little Gibbs, a high-rise composite structure residential building in Malabar Hills, Mumbai.
In Singapore, the construction group secured the Founder’s Memorial project.
Furthermore, in Saudi Arabia, Eversendai clinched another structural steel subcontract works package for the Speed Park Track, Primary Pit, and Motorsports Experience Centre.
Nathan said the projects would progressively enhance Eversendai’s turnover and profits.
“The Eversendai group is on the path to reach greater heights in 2025 and beyond with the record high order book in hand,” he said.
Going forward, the group said it expects to secure more lucrative high-profile projects in the Middle East and other countries where it currently operates.
Nathan said Eversendai Corp foresees progressive optimal utilisation of all its fabrication facilities with the current outstanding order book as the project momentum increases.
As at 4.55pm, Eversendai’s share price was up by six sen or 11.43% at 58.5 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM457 million.
