KUALA LUMPUR: Bumi Armada Bhd CEO Gary Neal Christenson has stepped down from his roles as CEO and as a member of the company’s board of directors, as well as those of its subsidiaries and joint-controlled entities, with immediate effect.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing, Bumi Armada said Christenson, whose term as CEO was due to expire on May 15, has requested an early release.
“The Bumi Armada board would like to thank Christenson for his services to the company since May 2018, and wish him the best in his future endeavours,” it said.
Bumi Armada said its chief financial officer Luke Targett and chief operating officer Alex Bridgen will jointly provide overall leadership to the company and be responsible for its performance.
“They will report to the risk management committee of the Bumi Armada board,” it added.
