Parisians can now work out in their birthday suit at a naturist gym

Following the openings of a naturist area in the Bois de Vincennes and that of a naked restaurant, a gym in the French capital is now letting users work out in the nude. Located within the Roger Le Gall swimming pool complex in the city's 12th arrondissement, the gym is open to naturists on weekday evenings from 9-11PM.

Gym
Naturism seems to be a growing trend in Paris. After a special naturist zone opened in the Bois de Vincennes in August and a naked restaurant — O’Naturel — set up in the city’s 12th arrondissement at the end of October, a Parisian gym is now offering naked training sessions for anyone who wants to work out in their birthday suit.

The gym, located within the Roger Le Gall swimming pool complex in the city’s 12th arrondissement, caters for a maximum 19 users and has cardio training and weight training areas. The equipment and machines are no different to what’s typically found elsewhere, with exercise benches, free weights and various other machines available to users.

Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions are reserved for members of the Paris Naturists Association, the club behind this latest initiative. Otherwise, entry costs €10 and the gym is open Monday through Friday, 9-11PM.

Note that the Roger Le Gall pool runs various other naked activities, such as yoga, and offers naturists access to the steam room and swimming pools three times per week.

It may be a new concept in Paris, but naked gyms already exist elsewhere in Europe, including in Spain, the Netherlands and the UK.
