PETALING JAYA: Sitting ready for Malaysian owners, the all new much sought after McLaren 720S has arrived in Malaysia…….but not with the new McLaren official importer (news/announcement still pending). With a waiting list growing in UK and the rest of Europe, a Malaysian car importer has 8 units ready for 8 lucky Malaysian owners.
This new McLaren supercar embodies their relentless quest to push the limits of supercar possibility. Lighter, stronger, faster. It’s all of these and more. But how it makes you feel is altogether something else. At the heart of this 720S is a new 710-horsepower, 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It features brand new turbochargers, intercoolers, cylinder heads, crankshaft, and pistons. The new engine is significantly more powerful than the previous unit.
According to McLaren, this 720S can hit 60mph from standstill in just 2.8 seconds and will reach a top speed of 212mph where the tarmac permits.
Prices before local taxes sit at around RM1,800,000.00 (estimated) and we are sure all units already have owners.
