The video shows Chris Pratt’s character — raptor trainer Owen Grady — petting a baby dinosaur. The short clip was published by Colin Trevorrow, who directed the previous movie, “Jurassic World,” and returns as producer and screenwriter on the sequel. It’s as yet unclear whether this short clip could be a “teaser” for an upcoming trailer.
As well as Chris Pratt, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” sees the return of Bryce Dallas Howard as scientist Claire Dearing and B. D. Wung as Dr Henry Wu. Jeff Goldblum also returns to the franchise as Ian Malcolm, the mathematician who escaped unscathed from Steven Spielberg’s first two “Jurassic Park” movies in the 1990s.
Directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is slated for US release June 22. The previous movie, “Jurassic World,” released in 2015, grossed $1.67 billion at the box office, making it the fourth highest-grossing movie, behind “Avatar,” “Titanic” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
