LOS ANGELES: Makeup guru Gucci Westman has launched a new beauty series on YouTube.

The celebrity makeup artist, who launched her own beauty brand “Westman Atelier” in 2018, has unveiled a new video on her YouTube channel featuring Demi Moore.

The video is the first episode in a new series dubbed “Makeup & Friends”, which will act as a hybrid makeup tutorial and informal conversation.

According to WWD, Cameron Diaz, Dakota Fanning and Martha Stewart have also been lined up to appear in upcoming episodes.

Westman told WWD that the series won’t act as a product push for her line, saying: “I want it to feel more transparent and to have a nice conversation that feels meaningful.”

The first episode sees Westman doing Moore’s makeup in the actor’s Beverly Hills home, while the duo talk about makeup products, Moore’s recently published memoir, dieting for her “Charlie’s Angels” role, grey eyebrow hairs and more.

Westman’s star-studded client base has included Drew Barrymore, Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway, and her previous high-profile positions include being Artistic Director at Lancome and Global Artistic Director at Revlon.

Since launching her brand, Westman Atelier has grown to encompass cosmetics and makeup brushes for eyes, lips and face, with a focus on clean, natural ingredients.
