PETALING JAYA: A group representing the disabled community has urged the Election Commission (EC) to allow those with persons with disabilities (PWD) cards to cast their ballot earlier for the general election.

Damai Disabled Person Association Malaysia president Murugeswaran Veerasamy said about 193,000 of the 600,000 people with PWD cards were eligible voters. He wanted the disabled to be allowed to vote on Nov 15.
