PETALING JAYA: Every student in the B40 will be eligible for free higher education if Barisan Nasional wins the general election (GE15) and forms the government, pledges coalition chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
In announcing BN’s GE15 manifesto, Zahid also pledged to do away with textbooks in the education system, as part of digitising the schooling system. Instead, learning will be conducted via laptops.
