PETALING JAYA: A GTA candidate vying for the Kuala Selangor parliamentary seat for GE15 has promised an incentive of RM500 to couples getting hitched for the first time, and RM200 for women who are giving birth to their first child.
Shaid Rosli, who is also the Jeram assemblyman, said these incentives were to help reduce the financial burdens of newlyweds and new mothers.
