KOTA KINABALU: Sabah chief minister Hajiji Noor said his predecessor Shafie Apdal “did not do anything” for Kota Marudu, even when the latter was the rural development minister.
Shafie, he said, did not even help those who had their houses razed in Kampung Bangau-Bangau, Semporna. Shafie is the former Semporna MP. It was the GRS-BN government, Hajiji said, that provided the victims RM8.5 million in assistance when it took over the state government.
