PETALING JAYA: PBS president Maximus Ongkili, who is seeking a seventh stint as Kota Marudu MP, says he has done a lot in the past 27 years to uplift the constituency, one of the poorest districts in the country.
According to The Borneo Post, Ongkili said he brought in retail franchises like KFC, Pizza Hut, Tealive and Mr DIY, adding that these helped to spur the local economy while creating a growth in population.
