KULAI: With just two days left for campaigning in the general election, there appears to be strong support in Pagoh for former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin – with his ceramahs well attended by Malay and Chinese voters.
While PN chairman Muhyiddin is seeking a ninth term in Pagoh, in Muar, its former MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman may struggle to defend his seat after first winning it in 2018 as BN’s Helmy Abd Latif and PN’s Abdullah Husin are strong challengers.
