PETALING JAYA: PH candidate S Sundarajoo denies being a “parachute candidate” for the Perai seat, saying he has voted in Penang for the past four general elections.
Sundarajoo, who was born in Selangor but has lived in Penang for nine years now, said he will continue projects started by former Perai assemblyman P Ramasamy, if elected on Aug 12.
According to Utusan Malaysia, the DAP man also said the people of Perai have given him a warm reception on the campaign trail, with the corporate figure contesting in his first election.
