Taliworks Corporation Berhad (TCB) in a statement today said the discount would be in effect from 12.01am on January 8, for a 24-hour period.
TCB is the holding company of Grand Saga Sdn Bhd (Grand Saga), which currently holds the concession for the Cheras-Kajang Highway, while its joint venture company Grand Sepadu (NK) Sdn Bhd (Grand Sepadu) holds the concession for the New North Klang Straits Bypass Expressway (NNKSB).
According to the statement, Grand Saga would also be distributing 1,000 Touch ‘n Go cards which normally cost RM10, with a preloaded value of RM4.
“It will be given away free at the NNKSB toll plaza cash lanes beginning this Friday (February 5) until stock last,” it said.
Grand Saga Senior General Manager, A Rajasolan said it was a little initiative in line with their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) theme, ‘Serving People, Aiding Communities’ to give back to the community.
Grand Saga’s Cheras-Kajang Highway is one of the first four-lane dual carriageways in Malaysia which stretches 11.5km from the Connaught Interchange, Cheras to Saujana Impian, Kajang.
