KUALA LUMPUR:
MY EG Services Bhd (MyEG) was today appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs to manage illegal foreign workers for the rehiring programme.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, MyEG said it received a new letter of appointment today and this would supersede the appointment letter dated September 4, 2015.

“All terms and conditions in the earlier letter will be replaced by new conditions stated in the letter dated today (February 11),” the company said.

MyEG said the project has no fixed value as it is dependent on the number of illegal foreign workers registered successfully.

“It would take effect from February 15, 2016 to August 15, 2016 and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of MyEG for the financial years ending June 30, 2016 and 2017, respectively.
