Popularly known as “Datuk Seri Vida”, she also lodged a report against another individual who opened a Facebook account impersonating her.
On Thursday at 1am, she detected a Facebook account impersonating her and duping about one million people on the social site.
“Many of my photographs were uploaded in the Facebook. The captions for the pictures were also like those I typed in the Instagram I own.
“The owner of the account promised lucrative prizes to the followers, such as free branded handbags,” she told reporters after lodging a report at the Jelapang police station here at 3.30 pm.
Hasmiza said, on the same day, she uploaded a status in her Facebook about the cheating, but a few hours later she could not access her Facebook account as it was hacked.
Jelapang police station chief Inspector Rashidi Othman confirmed receiving the report.
