JOHOR BARU: The Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Ibrahim has become a father. His wife, Che’ Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, gave birth to their first child, a girl, at Sultanah Aminah Hospital here.
Their daughter is the first grandchild of the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar.
The head of the Johor Royal Court Council, Abdul Rahim Ramli, announced the news in a statement. Both mother and child were in good health, he said.
The Johor Darul Ta’zim football club, in its official Facebook page, congratulated Tunku Ismail and his wife, with a photograph of the parents and their child. The couple were married in 2014.
