Kedah, Perak, Kelantan and Perlis now Covid-19 green zone states

More than 6,000 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded so far.

PETALING JAYA: Kedah, Perak, Kelantan and Perlis have been designated as Covid-19 green zone states with zero active cases.

A red zone is an area with more than 40 cases. Kota Bahru in Kelantan had recorded 90 cases while Hilir Perak and Kinta in Perak recorded 65 and 95 cases previously.

Hulu Langat is the only red zone district in Selangor with 61 cases still being treated.

There are now 92 green zone districts with zero active cases nationwide.

The active red zones are:

Kepong, Lembah Pantai and Titiwangsa (Kuala Lumpur)

Hulu Langat (Selangor)

Johor Bahru and Kluang (Johor)

Kuching and Kota Samarahan (Sarawak)

To date, a total of 6,002 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the country with 102 deaths. Some 4,171 people have recovered while 1,729 are still being treated.
