PETALING JAYA:
Several workers at Resorts World Genting’s staff canteen have tested positive for Covid-19 during regular health screening.

In a statement, the resort gave an assurance that the affected employees had been isolated after testing positive and precautionary measures were under way.

“Contact tracing is in progress and we have asked for the employees who visited these canteens to be accommodated separately for a certain period.

“We have thoroughly sanitised and disinfected the staff canteens as well as any areas frequented by the workers,” it said, adding that the canteens were not accessible to the general public.

“We assure everyone that standard procedures are in place and will be continuously reviewed to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.”

Resorts World Genting will remain open to the public.
