
In a statement, he said 12 of them involved workplaces while one cluster was detected in a detention centre.
Three clusters were detected in Sabah, two each in Selangor, Johor and Kuala Lumpur, and one each in Pahang, Putrajaya, Penang and Kelantan.
The Jalan City cluster is a workplace cluster in Sepang, with its index cases testing positive on Feb 2 in a screening at a shopping mall there. A total of 112 people have been screened with 48 found positive.
The Jalan Aman cluster is a workplace cluster in Hulu Selangor, with its first few cases found positive on Feb 1 during a screening at a factory on Jalan Aman Suria, Bestari Jaya in Kuala Selangor. Some 255 people have been screened with 38 testing positive.
The Jalan Pulai 55 cluster is a workplace cluster in Johor Bahru, with its index case testing positive on Feb 1 in a screening prior to getting admitted to hospital. The cluster involves occupants and workers of a shelter at Jalan Puali 55, Taman Pulai Utama. A total of 58 people have been screened with 42 found positive.
The Batu Tiga Setengah cluster is a workplace cluster in Batu Pahat, with its first case found positive on Jan 17 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves a factory located at Batu 3 ½, Jalan Kluang. Some 119 people have been screened with 19 testing positive.
The Taman Koperasi cluster is a workplace cluster in Kepong, with its index cases testing positive on Feb 3 in a screening at an educational institute in Taman Koperasi. A total of 23 people have been screened with 15 found positive.

The Kandi Sungai Besi cluster is a workplace cluster in Cheras, with its first case found positive on Jan 28 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves students at a public institute while its name refers to the pupils’ dorm located in Sungai Besi. Some 267 people have been screened with 10 testing positive.
The Ladang Tangkarason cluster is a workplace cluster in Beluran, with its index case testing positive on Feb 3 in a workplace screening. It involves workers in a palm oil plantation in Tangkarason. A total of 16 people have been screened, all of whom were positive.
The Bandar Lama cluster is a workplace cluster in Tawau, with its first case found positive on Jan 21 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves workers at a public administration centre on Jalan Dunlop, Bandar Lama. Some 56 people have been screened with 24 testing positive.
The Jalan Satu KKIP cluster is a workplace cluster involving Tuaran and Kota Kinabalu, with its first case testing positive on Jan 7 in a pre-employment screening. It involves workers at a warehouse on Jalan Satu KKIP Selatan in Kota Kinabalu. A total of 194 people have been screened with 30 found positive.
The Mayang Pasir cluster is a workplace cluster involving North-East, South-West, North Seberang Perai, Central Seberang Perai and South Seberang Perai districts of Penang. The index case is an Influenza Like Illness (ILI) patient who was found positive on Jan 30. It involves a factory at Jalan Mayang Pasir, Bayan Lepas. Some 217 people have been screened with 47 testing positive.
The Lebuh Karak cluster is a workplace cluster in Bentong, with its first case testing positive on Feb 2 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves students and staff of an educational institute at the KL-Karak highway. A total of 170 people have been screened with eight found positive.
The Presint Tujuh construction site cluster is a workplace cluster in Putrajaya, with its index cases found positive on Feb 3 after a screening at a construction site in Precinct 7. Some 136 people have been screened with nine testing positive.
Lastly, the Tembok Pengkalan Chepa cluster is a detention centre cluster in Kota Bharu, with its first few cases testing positive on Jan 23 in a screening on new admissions. A total of 511 people have been screened with 76 found positive.
Meanwhile, five clusters officially ended today, namely the Ikan Emas, Awan Lembah construction site, Tenun Merah, Sugud and Gerbang Pongsu clusters. There are now 412 active clusters of the total 851 reported.
Clusters that recorded the highest number of cases today are the Muda construction site (534), Jalan Yahya (276) and Kebun Baru (63) clusters.
