In a statement, he said seven of them were workplace clusters, two were community clusters and another two involved high-risk groups.

Selangor, Johor and Kuala Lumpur each detected three clusters, while another two clusters were from Sabah.

Clusters that reported the most inflections today were the Tanjung Suria (356), Persiaran Perkilangan (319) and Jalan Cochrane (104) clusters.

The 11 new clusters are:

Selangor

• Batu 20 – a workplace cluster in Gombak, Selangor. The index cases tested positive on Feb 10 through a targeted screening on a company in Jalan Ipoh, Batu 20, Rawang. A total of 205 people have been screened, with 42 found positive.
• Industry Wawasan – a workplace cluster in Klang, Selangor. The first few cases tested positive on Feb 10 after a targeted screening on a factory in Jalan Wawasan, Kawasan Perindustrian Sungai Kapar Indah, Klang. Some 116 individuals were screened, 38 of whom tested positive.
• The Persiaran Sepang – a construction site in Sepang, Selangor. The index cases tested positive on Feb 2 through a targeted screening on a construction site in Persiaran Sepang, Cyberjaya. A total of 526 people were screened, with 29 found positive.

Kuala Lumpur

• Jalan Tandok – a construction site cluster in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur. The first few cases tested positive on Feb 2 through a targeted screening on a construction site in Jalan Tandok, Lembah Pantai. So far, 188 people have been screened, with 25 testing positive.
• Jalan Harun – a high-risk group, involving a care home in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. The index case tested positive on Feb 10 after a symptomatic screening. The care home is in Jalan Dato Haji Harun, Taman Taynton View, Cheras. Of the 11 individuals screened, nine tested positive.
• Jalan Dua Belas cluster – a workplace cluster in a public administration centre in Kepong and Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur. The first case tested positive on Jan 29 after a symptomatic screening. The public administration centre is in Jalan 1A/2A, Kampung Batu Muda, Kepong. Some 103 people were screened, with 19 found positive.

Johor

• Jalan Uda Utama cluster – a workplace cluster in a public administration centre in Kota Iskandar, Johor Bahru, Johor. The index case tested positive on Feb 8 after a symptomatic screening. So far, 61 people were screened, 17 of whom tested positive.
• Lorong Sahabat – a community cluster in Kluang, Johor. The index case, who lives in Lorong Sahabat, Kampung Tengah, tested positive on Feb 5 after a symptomatic screening. A total of 19 people were screened, with 17 tested positive.
• Jalan Kancil Waha – a community cluster in Kota Tinggi, Johor. The first case, who lives in Jalan Kancil, Rumah Kakitangan Felda Simpang Waha, Kota Tinggi, tested positive on Jan 29 after a symptomatic screening. Some 45 individuals were screened, with nine found positive.

Sabah

• Jalan Tiga KKIP – a workplace cluster in a factory in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The index case tested positive on Feb 5 after a symptomatic screening. The cluster involves a factory in Jalan Tiga KKIP, Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park. A total of 37 people have been screened, with 11 testing positive.
• Lorong Bersatu Damai – a high-risk group at a medical centre at Lorong Bersatu, Jalan Damai, Kota Kinabalu. It involves the districts of Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Penampang in Sabah. The index case tested positive on Feb 8 through a screening before entering the hospital ward. So far, 91 individuals were screened, with 21 found positive.

Clusters closed

Four clusters have officially ended today, namely the Jalan Genting, Harum, Medan Idaman and Wakaf Lanas clusters. There are now 466 active clusters out of the 931 reported.
