PETALING JAYA: Perak PKR deputy chief MA Thinagaran was arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) this morning, a PKR source has confirmed.
He told FMT that Thinagaran was arrested by the anti-graft agency this morning and a car was also seized.
Meanwhile, state chief Farhash Wafa Salvador Mubarak told FMT he has been informed that Thinagaran has been called in to assist in investigations into a case.
He further asked all parties to be calm and not to draw any conclusions.

“I hope his family will be strong in facing the challenges while he gets full support from his friends and supporters,” Farhash added.
Farhash hoped the investigations by MACC will not have any outside interference.
FMT has contacted MACC for more details on the arrest.
