
In a statement, he said eight of them were workplace clusters while two were community clusters.
Three of the clusters were detected in Johor, Selangor, Penang, Sabah, Perak and Kelantan.
The clusters that reported the most infections today were the Jalan Changkat Jong (474), Simpang Tiga Muar (55) and Tembok Tapah (54) clusters.

The ten new clusters are:
Selangor:
- Bukit Putra – a workplace cluster in Gombak. Positive cases were reported on Feb 26 after a targeted screening of workers at a factory in the Bukit Rahman Putra Industrial Park, Sungai Buloh. So far, 357 people have been screened, with 24 found positive.
- Teknologi Emas – a workplace cluster in Kuala Langat. Positive cases were reported from Jan 29 after a targeted screening of workers at a factory near Jalan Emas. A total of 87 people were screened, with 20 testing positive.
- Jalan Jenjarum – a workplace cluster in Petaling. Positive cases were reported from Feb 23 after a targeted screening of workers at a factory in Jalan Jenjarum 28/39, Shah Alam. Some 94 people were screened, with 24 found positive.
- Bina Persiaran Freesia Construction Site – a workplace cluster in Kuala Langat. Positive cases were reported from Fed 23 after a targeted screening of workers at a construction site along Persiaran Freesia. Some 343 people were screened, with 19 found positive.
Johor:
- Simpang Tiga Muar – a workplace cluster in Muar. Positive cases were reported on Feb 26 after a targeted screening of workers at a factory in the Parit Jamil Industrial Park. The name of the cluster refers to the locality where the workers are staying in Simpang 3, Parit Jamil. Some 377 people were screened, with 55 found positive.
- Jalan Mega Satu – a workplace cluster in Johor Bahru. Positive cases were reported on Feb 26 after a targeted screening of workers at a factory in Jalan Mega 1/5, Nusa Cermelang Industrial Park in Nusajaya. Some 23 people were screened, with nine found positive.
Perak:
- Kampung Columbia – a community cluster in Manjung.The index case tested positive on Feb 17 through a screening of a symptomatic individual. The name of the cluster refers to the locality where the virus has spread in Kampung Columbia, Ayer Tawar. Some 43 people were screened, with 11 found positive.
Sabah:
- Merotai Besar – a workplace cluster involving Kalabakan.The index case tested positive on Feb 18 through a screening of a symptomatic individual. The cluster involves a business premise located along Jalan Tawau-Kalabakan, Merotai Besar, Tawau. Some 79 people were screened with 26 found positive.
Penang:
- Genting Terang – a workplace cluster involving the Southwest and South Seberang Perai districts. The index case tested positive on Feb 19 from a Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). The cluster involves a public administration office located along Jalan Genting, Balik Pulau. Some 133 people were screened with 21 found positive.
Kelantan:
- Kampung Telekong – a community cluster involving Kuala Krai and Machang. The index case tested positive on Feb 17 after a close contact screening. The name of the cluster refers to the locality where the virus has spread in Kampung Telekong, Kuala Krai. Some 108 people were screened with 29 found positive.
Clusters ended
A total of 16 clusters were ended today namely the Kompleks Segamaha, Bina Lebuh Puteri Construction Site, Flora Construction Site, Taman Batik, Jalan Tengar, Jalan Slim, Kejaya, Ladang Sebrang, Bukit Gelugor, Jalan Kota Burok, Keluli Tujuh, Kampung Tanah Merah, Jalan Empayar, Jalan Bistari Dua, Pulau Lima, and Jalan Rusa Scientex.
A total of 493 clusters remain active.
